I have joined a gym and got myself a hot personal trainer! He is very good at what he does and has seriously been putting me through my paces.

I am loving the workouts and I can feel myself getting fitter already!

I really like my gym. I have not decided if I will participate in some of the classes they offer yet. At the moment I just like doing my cardio and using the weight machines.

What I do need is some nice new gym outfits. Any excuse to go shopping hehehe! :)

I have to say a big thank you to all you guys for your messages in 2011 about how you love reading my blog.

Well I will continue to update my throughout 2012. I hope you will continue to enjoy reading my posts.

This year I have lots of plans but to start with I shall be doing a bit of detoxing and getting fit and healthy. I will be joining a local gym.Working out at home is fun but I like to have the option of using gym equipment as well.

I am back on my green juice. I find I can quite happily go for ages without eating a single bit of veg (unless it's on a pizza lol) so drinking my veggies is the best way for me to get them in.

Hi all,

Today I received a great gift in the post, a Kindle.

I absolutely love it!

I have recently got back into reading fiction and thought one these little devices would be ideal for me.

One of my twitter friends decided he wanted to buy it for as an Xmas pressie and a few days I have it here in my hands:)

I am so grateful for this gift. It's just so handy especially as the books I read tend to be of the thick doorstep variety so always heavy and awkward to carry. My kindle is so light and tiny, did I mention I love it!:)

I am currently reading A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness, it's pretty good so far.

If anyone has any book recommendations for please leave a comment with your suggestion. Let me know what's good in the world of fiction these days.

Well as we all know last night was bonfire night.

I was going to be drinking mulled wine and watching a public fireworks display but as it looked like it was going to rain and the thought of standing around getting wet (not the good kind lol) and eating a soggy hot dog did not appeal, so my good friend and I decided to head to the cinema instead.

We saw In Time. I thought is was a very good movie. The storyline reminded me a bit of Logans Run an oldie but goodie.

Such great weather we are having! haha! I must be strange because I do love a good walk in the rain.

I finally got my ultrasound scan on my sore arm at the hospital very early this morning.

I had to wait a lot longer than expected for an appointment date due to a name/address/gremlin in the works problem but nevermind I got there in the end.

I was told my arm problem has now become a shoulder problem.

My bursa has some inflammation in there which is restricting some movement. I don't have pain in there (for that I am grateful) because when I first found out about the bicep tendonitis that I wrote about in a previous blog, I googled it and found alot of physio exercises that were very easy to do several times a day.

The ultrasound technician did want me to have an injection to help my symptoms but I was more than happy to decline as these exercises have really helped and I know I will soon have my arm back to normal and who wants a big old needle in their shoulder anyway? not me!;)
